White’s Family Fun and Sports Center Closes Its Doors

After 20 years, an Acushnet landmark is closing its doors

According to the Standard Times, White's Family Fun Center in Acushnet will be closing its doors this weekend after being open for 20 years. The park was opened in 1994 and includes some indoor and outdoors rides, mini golf, and a bird sanctuary. The owner, 81 year old owner David White, said "I think we've got to throw the towel in while we still can pay our bills"

White's Family Fun Center will wrap up their run this Saturday and Sunday from Noon-5p. The center is located at 211 Middle Road in Acushnet
