No sooner do you get the house completely decorated for Christmas and the holidays, it's time to take everything down and get your house back to normal.

I don't know about you, but I feel like it's a lot of work planning, deciding on and decorating for the holidays around my house. I have the basics, which I call my "every year go-to's" like the Christmas tree, of course, the nativity scene, the mantle greens and lights, the stockings and well, you get the idea.

All of this takes a good amount of time to get situated and completed. I'm talking hours, days and some years with everything else going on, even some blood, sweat and tears. And now here we are, only a week or so after Christmas, and I'm debating on just un-decorating everything this weekend to get my house back to normal. I'm feeling guilty and unorganized at the same time, which I hate.

Do others feel this way after the holidays are technically over? Is there a name for what I'm feeling, a condition perhaps? Maybe it's called the post-Christmas blues?

I decided to see what my friends and people on social media were doing about the holiday mess in their houses right now, and it appears except for just one Instagram friend who took her tree down on December 26, we're all in the same boat.

What about you? What are you doing with your holiday and Christmas chaos at home post-holidays?
