Fall River Shepherd Hopes to Play Fetch Forever with a Loving Family [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's talk about dogs.
Every animal deserves a forever home, and we have made it our mission to unite as many animals as possible with the perfect forever family. With the help of local shelters, we share the stories of a few great pets.
This week, we head to Fall River where an energetic dog is anxiously awaiting a new best friend.
Meet Yeti. Yeti is a two-year-old shepherd mix that is all legs and all energy. The crew at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River joke that Yeti runs on espresso because he is always zooming with energy.
"He would be a great hiking partner," said the shelter.
Yeti is currently in his teenage phase. The shelter said he's very much like a teenage boy in the sense that he's smart but impulsive.
Yeti would be the perfect fit for an active family that enjoys adventures. The shelter does not recommend cats or children under 12 in the home as he continues to work through his hyperactive behavior.
"Any potential canine housemates will have to be the perfect match because not many dogs are willing to tolerate Yeti's antics," said the shelter.
Yeti is a social butterfly. He loves people and he's very friendly. Playing fetch is one of his favorite pastimes, and he's all about scratches behind the ear.
"If you've been looking for motivation to get outside more, come meet this guy. He'll be all the motivation you need!" said the shelter.
