Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! It's our favorite day of the week.

Hundreds of animals are filling up shelters on the SouthCoast and it is our mission to unite as many animals as possible with a loving home.

Each week, we give one animal the spotlight. This week, we shine a light on a Fall River puppy who has spent two months too long at the shelter.

Meet Dunlap. Dunlap is a 5-month old puppy currently residing at Faxon Animal Care and Adoption Center in Fall River. Dunlap is 30 pounds of energy who loves to play and run outside.

"Although he has fun, playful energy, he also loves to sit on your lap for a good cuddle," said the shelter.

Dunlap is a typical puppy. He's working very hard on his potty training and his manners, and his forever family will have to pick up where the shelter leaves off. The good news is that Dunlap is eager to learn and eager to please.

Dunlap and his four siblings have been at the shelter for two months. No puppy should grow old at the shelter! It's time to find them loving homes.

"We love Dunlap so much and we just hope someone else will love him too," said the shelter.

Does Dunlap sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Faxon Animal Care and Adoption Center and schedule a play date.

Dunlap cannot wait to meet you.
