Weird Pet Laws Across The Globe

No matter where you live, there are some weird laws in place that you probably aren't even aware of. If you have pets, you might want to check these laws out.

Some of these "laws" are pretty weird and probably wouldn't apply to most people, but good to know anyway just in case I guess.

For example, you cannot tie a dog to the roof of your car in Alaska. That's illegal, and probably for the best.

Connecticut: Against the law to educate dogs in Hartford, CT.

Idaho: Illegal for a person to sleep in a dog kennel.

Illinois: It's illegal to give whiskey or a lit cigar to a dog. (Um, why would you?)

Maryland: If you happen to have a pet lion, you can't take it to the movies with you. (Good to know.)

Minnesota: It's illegal for cats to sleep in a bakery.

Wyoming: It's illegal to take photos of a rabbit from January to April, unless you have an official permit.
