We The People: The Market Basket Effect Premieres At The Boston Film Festival

The new Market Basket movie premiered last night at the Boston Film Festival. 

"We The People" tells the story of last summer's six week boycott of Market Basket. Workers at the Massachusetts based supermarket chain was boycotted in the summer of 2014 after CEO  Arthur T. Demoulas, William Marsden, and Joseph Rockwell were Ousted by Arthur's cousin Arthur S. Demoulas.  The protest reached New Bedford's Market Basket location.

Arthur T. was eventually reinstated when customers and employees supported the boycott of all 71 stores and helped the leverage buyout. The film is narrated by Michael Chiklis and will be released soon.
