I watch this coverage to this day and still I get chills up my spine. Hard to believe 12 years ago our country came under attack by a bunch of cowards, who had nothing better to do than to kill over 3000 innocent people. I'm pretty sure most adults who were alive that day remember what and where they were then they heard the news. For me, I was sleeping, I woke up at about 8:40 and made a cup of coffee, you know just a normal day.

As usual, I walked over to the TV and turned it on. Coincidentally, i had left it on a major network from the evening before. My eyes opened wide as I thought I was watching the preview for a new movie. At that exact second, I realized I was watching live news coverage.

At that exact point, the second plane struck the buildings. As I watched in utter disbelief, my phone rang. My boss was calling me and basically told me to get to work and to bring clothes and food, because Id probably be there for awhile.

At the time, I worked for a news radio station so I knew what had happened that was on TV in front of my face was going to change the world. Still not a day goes by that I don't think of those innocent people and those families that were forever changed by the terrorist act that is now known to be the worst attack in the history of the United States.
