Popular frozen treat and summertime staple Del's Lemonade could be yours – at least one store, anyway.

The Warren. Rhode Island location recently hit the market, but with a hefty price tag of $975,000 many may be asking "Is the juice worth the squeeze?"

This popular spot sits right on the East Bay Bike Path, a spot I'm all too familiar with having grown up in Rhode Island. I can vouch for the fact that this Del's gets packed in the summertime, and for good reason.

Del's has been cooling us down since 1948 with its first location in Cranston. It grew so much in popularity that it nearly became the state drink of Rhode Island. It lost out to coffee milk, but that's a story for another day.

Del's season is one we all look forward to and will gladly wait in line for our favorite flavor.

Mine is lemon, for anyone wondering.

I hold true to the classics. It's the best flavor. Don't even try to convince me otherwise. Watermelon is great and all, but lemon is on top of my leaderboard. I digress.

Aside from serving up the Del's signature product, the nearly $1 million list price includes the following:

  • The space (which was recently renovated and now includes a takeout window)
  • Outdoor seating
  • Plenty of parking
  • Two delivery vehicles
  • New AC/heating system and advanced water filtration
  • Exclusive rights in the Bristol and Warren markets

All that and more can be yours, if the price is right.

Hey, when life gives you lemons, make an investment.

The Best of South Shore Bar Pizza

There's pizza, and then there's South Shore Bar Pizza. Birthed in Brockton (and to this writer, perfected in Randolph – Lynwood Café is the true G.O.A.T.), it must meet certain qualifications to be considered "SSBP," which include: it's a 10-inch pie; it has a thin, cracker-like crust with minimal "flop;" the cheese is a blend that features more cheddar than mozzarella; and bonus points if you take it home between two carboard-type plates wrapped in flat brown paper bag. They also usually come with "laced" or "burnt" edges (terminology depends on where you are ordering), which is when the sauce and cheese are extended all the way to the edge of the pan, creating a crispy, flavorful coating to the crust. We reached out to the hugely popular South Shore Bar Pizza Social Club Facebook group to ask the experts to share the best of the best (in no particular order).
