Warmest February Ever In Massachusetts

It's been a pretty mild February on the Southcoast, especially compared to last February! But has it been the warmest February ever?

Despite the mild temperatures and small amount of snowfall so far this February, it has been warmer in the past.

In fact on this day (February 24th) back in 1985, it became the warmest February day on record in Massachusetts.

It was pretty much beach weather 31 years ago, when February 24th hit 70 degrees!

So even though we think 50 is pretty great right now (and it is!), it has reached higher on the thermometer before.
