Wareham Police Arrest Beverly Man for Alleged Onset Vehicle Break-Ins
WAREHAM (WBSM) — A Beverly man who already had active warrants for his arrest was taken into custody in Wareham on Tuesday for an alleged string of break-ins into vehicles in Onset.
Wareham Police report that on September 24, patrol officers were investigating several incidents of breaking and entering into vehicles in Onset and were able to obtain surveillance video from the area in an attempt to identify the suspect.
Detectives then began their investigation and were able to locate a man in the area of Onset Center that matched the suspect’s description.
The man, identified as Kristopher Foley, 36, of Beverly, Massachusetts was in possession of a backpack, and according to police, stolen items from the recent break-ins to vehicles. They said Foley was placed into custody without incident.
According to police, Foley also had two outstanding warrants out of Lynn District Court for similar offenses.
Foley is now charged in Wareham with trespassing, breaking and entering into a vehicle in the nighttime, and receiving stolen property under $1,200.
He was arraigned in Wareham District Court.
