Walking with Jane Jimmy Fund Fundraiser

This could possibly be the most impactful walk of your life.

Join Walking with Jane at Lyrics Bar & Grill in Tiverton April 30th for a Spaghetti Dinner to support the NETwalkers Alliance Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk team. The event runs from 4-9 p.m.

Dinner is just $12 and includes a salad, as well as spaghetti and meatballs. Singer Steven Rodrigues and comedian Bernie Perrotty will provide live entertainment. Fall River Outstanding Teen Julia Hurley will also entertain with her saxophone.

Lyrics Bar & Grill is located at 4 Stafford Road in Tiverton, just over the Fall River line.

The price does not include drinks, dessert, or tip. Take-out orders are available.

Every penny raised will go to support NET cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. That’s the form of cancer Jane Dybowski, a longtime Westport High School science teacher, passed away from in 2010. Walking with Jane was created in her memory to fight what remains a little-known form of cancer, even though it is now the second most common form of gastrointestinal cancer in the US.
