Vermont Teddy Bear Factory [PICS]

Back from Vermont, and my family and I had a great time. We love spending quality family time together and have decided to have our family vacation every year in Vermont. Why Vermont? The leaves are absolutely gorgeous this time of year, and some of the local attractions are pretty cool as well.

Last year we went to the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, and the Trapp Family Lodge. This year we brought our son John to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory. If you have kids, they'll absolutely love it. Adults will love it too. They show you step-by-step how each teddy bear is made, and it's amazing to me how small towns have such an impact on this country. A factory of just 100 employees are responsible for making thousands of teddy bears for the holidays and Valentine's Day.

We're starting to get to know the area pretty well. The scenic mountain drives with the vast colors of Fall are amazing. If you love the season like we do, you should head up to Vermont too and just get away. I'm glad to be back though. Since I'm such a tech guy, I couldn't possibly give up my technology for that much time, but it's good to walk away for a moment and just enjoy quality time with the family.
