Update to Dan Desmaris Kidney Search

Congratulations to Dan Desmaris who received a kidney transplant on Sunday, Feb. 11. The family wishes to continue the kindness shown to them by paying it forward for another Dartmouth resident in need.

Stephanie Macedo on Facebook - "UPDATE: After our first round of sign delivering Saturday, we got a phone call we will never forget which changed the course of our search. My Dad was given an emergency kidney transplant yesterday. This community has been an amazing amount of support, and I want to thank you! BUT I don't want that to end. My family would like to shift gears and bring focus to another Dartmouth resident that is in DESPERATE need of a living kidney donor! Patricia Hurd Kehoe is in need of type A or O. If you all will allow, I'd still like to deliver signs to everyone BUT with Patricia's information now instead of my Dad! We are in the process of having signs made up for her as we speak and are going to do everything we can to use this positive momentum to pay it forward and help her to find a donor.
