How Does GrubTub Work?

You pay one flat rate for a three-hour GrubTub rental; it can seat up to eight guests comfortably, so when you divide up amongst the group, it really is a great deal for such a fun experience.

You can bring your own food or drinks, or opt for GrubTub’s anchored delivery service for an extra fee. Each boat includes a grill or an ice bucket for your floating picnic, as well as an umbrella and Bluetooth speakers, so don’t forget to make a yacht rock playlist before you head out.

Only those 21 and older can rent or operate the GrubTub boat, and any children must be accompanied by an adult. No boating license is required, and it’s very simple to operate, but you can also request a captain to handle the driving for you for an extra fee.

How Do You Book Your GrubTub Experience?

There are three types of three-hour rentals, each at a different price point. If you’d like to rent it out for a morning float (9:30 a.m.), it costs $225. Afternoon rentals (1 p.m.) are $250, and sunset rentals (4:30 p.m.) run $300. Don't forget to use the promo code "Grub15" to save 15 percent off those prices.

Can You Book GrubTub During Appongansett Concerts?

Yes! GrubTub offers a special “Concert Night” package to give you a different perspective on the popular Padanaram concert series on Wednesday nights throughout the summer. Rather than fight to find the best spot in the Apponagansett Park, you can listen and watch from the tranquil waters of the harbor.
