Transgender Folks And Laws That Could Some Day Affect Them Here On The Southcoast

On the Rock and Fox show this morning, we reported on a story regarding the bathroom choice of the transgender community.

According to npr.org the governor of North Carolina recently signed a “bathroom bill” into law that says transgender people can only use the public bathroom of their gender according to their birth certificate. A lot of folks are not happy about this including large corporate companies and national sports organizations.

Paypal had original plans to start up an operations center in Charlotte, which they have now cancelled. This operation would have created up to 400 jobs for the city. And in this same article at npr.org, the NBA has discussed completely moving the 2017 All-Star game out of Charlotte all together.
