Easter is right around the corner with its egg hunts, bunny baskets and family meals. But it all doesn't have to be the same as last year.

If you're hoping to do something a little different this Easter season, Southern New England has a few options for you.

Whether you wants to get more artistic with your Easter eggs, are looking for a serious hunting challenge or are simply seeking a little adventure, there are Easter activities planned that could be perfect for you.

Every April hundreds of Easter activities and events are planned throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. But all of these events are not the same.

We searched for some of the most interesting Easter options out there and think we found a few good ones for 2025.

Artistic Egg Decorating in Worcester, MA

If you want to make some super fancy Easter egg this season, Worcester is where you want to be.

At the Mercantile Center, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is running through early May, but for certain weekends in April you can add egg painting to your visit.

On April 12,13, 19 and 20, for just an extra $5 you can make one-of-a-kind Van Gogh inspired eggs for your Easter display.

High Flying Egg Hunt in Sandwich, MA

Looking to take your Easter egg hunt to a whole new level - literally? The Adventure Park at Heritage Museums & Gardens has you covered with their treetop egg hunt.

Yes, while you are climbing through their ropes course and ziplining among the trees, you can also look for Easter eggs hidden feet off the ground.

These hunts run from opening day, April 11, through Easter Sunday, April 20, and every hunter who finds an egg gets a treat from the Park Store at the end of their climb.

Camouflage Challenge in Bristol, RI

If you really want to challenge yourself this Easter however, the Audubon Society of Rhode Island has one of the most difficult egg hunt ideas.

They're asking you to search for plain brown eggs hidden in the natural setting of their Nature Center in Bristol.

This challenging hunt happens Saturday April 12 with check-in starting at 9:30 A.M.

Need a day of hiking, biking and seeing a 33-foot North Atlantic Right Whale replica? Then you need to head to the Rhode Island Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium in Bristol.
