Kickoff this summer with one of New Bedford’s premier events featuring great food and live music while supporting the community. Bidding on the silent auction also opens at 5pm. The extensive silent auction truly has something for everyone. Sports memorabilia and tickets, getaways and experiences, food and spirits, and gift baskets, are only some of the items you’ll see as you peruse the auction tent – or on United Way’s mobile bidding platform.

The Clambake, prepared by Foster’s Clambake of York, Maine, is served hot and starts at 7 p.m. The traditional New England Clambake features a bowl of chowder, corn, potatoes, onions, a hot dog, clams, and a lobster. You’ll notice the meal has a local flair with linguicia from Gaspar’s. Then, you can top off your meal with a Lobster Lemonade martini from the cash bar, yum!

Once you finish your meal, dance and enjoy the live music by Wired!  Try your luck at the Wine Toss sponsored by Cardoza’s Wine & Spirits.  This fun twist on the classic game allows you to test your tossing skills - catch your ring on a bottle, and it’s yours to enjoy at home.

The United Way of Greater New Bedford works to strengthen our community in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.

Be a part of the fun on June 14th and support our local United Way. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased at unitedwayofgnb.org/clambake or by calling 508-994-9625 ext. 219. The ticket price increases the day of, so don’t wait and get your tickets today.😋
