After years of stores closing and rumors upon rumors, it's been confirmed that the Swansea Mall is up for auction.

ABC6 reports the Swansea Mall, owned by Carlyle Development Group, is for sale through an online auction. The starting bid is $1.4 million.

I don't know about you, but I think $1.4 mil is not a lot of money for an entire mall located on prime real estate in the busy section of Swansea. I mean, there are much smaller square foot homes listed for a lot more money here on the SouthCoast. Am I wrong?

Gazelle and I talked about the Swansea Mall on our show this week and there are rumors floating around that a religious congregation has been interested in setting up shop inside the property.

Imagine the Swansea Mall turning into a—church?
