The Sneaky Social Media App Parents Should Know About[VIDEO]

Could your kids be hiding a social media app accounts from you?

As a mom of 2 boys who are both just starting out with social media apps, I was definitely concerned when I came across this story on NECN this morning.

The article talks about how kids today have their "safe" Instagram account, you know, the one that mom and dad know about but also create a secret second account. This app is being referred to as "Finstagram"... The F meaning FAKE.  Kids apparently use this fake Instagram for photos and videos they don't want particular people like their parents maybe or other family members to see.

Do you think your son or daughter may have one of the "Finstagram" accounts?  I'm pretty confident mine do not, but it is something I'm going to ask them about.  Open and honest communication is BIG in our house :)
