Driving through Plymouth last week, I could not believe how low the blimp in the sky was flying.

While I was driving through Plymouth last Wednesday, I looked up into the sky and saw the biggest blimp ever in between the trees. I mean I've seen blimps in the sky before but never this close or low to the ground. At first I thought maybe it was heading for a crash landing into the woods. But then a few minutes later I saw it again near a completely different part of town. I wondered what was going on that the Goodyear Blimp was cruising all over the Plymouth skyline.

I started poking around Facebook and found out that lots of folks from Plymouth were able to take a ride on the blimp last Wednesday and the pilot took them over their neighborhood. How cool is that?

Lisa Perry Blazonis says, "Did anyone see the the Goodyear Blimp over Plymouth today??? My family and I got to go for a ride over our town! It was absolutely beautiful!!"  And Marlene from Plymouth commented on a Blimp Facebook post that, "I saw people doing the stupidest driving today in part because of the Blimp and planes. People, just stopping in the middle of on ramps, slowing down on the highway, it was a nightmare today. I wouldn’t be surprised if there weren’t a ton of accidents."

Yikes, it's true and I saw the same stuff driving through town. I'm on the fence as to whether I would go for a ride in the Goodyear Blimp, what about you?
