The festival is back for its fourth year and includes performances by the Toe Jam Puppet Band for the kids along with food and ice cream from one of our favorite places.

This FREE Acushnet River Herring Festival is Saturday, May 11 from 12-4 p.m., rain or shine, and is open to everyone who wants to join.

This will be a great way to get the kids outside now that spring is finally here. It's all happening at the Acushnet Sawmill. The day has something for all ages, including a performance from the Toe Jam Puppet Band. My boys LOVED these guys when they were little. And who doesn't love Oxford Creamery?
