Rare Thanksgiving Snow Could Make For Risky Black Friday Shopping
If you're a fan of early morning deals the day after Thanksgiving, this season things might not go your way.
For decades the holiday shopping season has been unofficially kicked off by Black Friday sales in stores, but this year shopping them might be more dangerous than ever.
That's because a rare Thanksgiving snowstorm is brewing for the Northeast and if things hit just right, Black Friday shopping could go all wrong.
Believe it or not, the first snow of the season could be just around the corner and the Farmer's Almanac called it months ago.

Will The SouthCoast Have Snow on Thanksgiving?
Early models from multiple weather outlets show a windy, chilly storm gearing up to his the SouthCoast just after Thanksgiving dinner is over.
Though skies seem clear for the days leading up to the holiday and travel should be good for getting to your turkey day destinations, it's heading home that might become difficult.
Storm trackers show rain beginning late Thanksgiving night, with temperatures dropping quickly after 6 P.M. By late evening/early morning, things will definitely be cold enough to snow and the sleety, slick change should begin.
Will Snow Affect Black Friday Shopping?
If your plan was simply to sleep in on Black Friday and head home from any travel destination at some point during the weekend, you seem good to go.
However, of you love getting up in the middle of the night to start your holiday shopping during Black Friday sales, things could get tricky.

All the snow potential on the SouthCoast is in the overnight hours. Any sales from midnight until 6 A.M. will likely mean driving in slick conditions on dark roads.
Though Friday's weather will ultimately warm up and switch any snowfall back to rain, the peak Black Friday shopping hours could be a dangerous time to drive.
Of course, all weather forecasts are still pretty early and things could change throughout the week ahead.
