Taunton-based sensation Kinfolks BBQ is making waves in the culinary world once again, but this time it's not just with its mouthwatering dishes served out of a food truck parked on Winthrop Street.

Owner Sylvester English has set his sights on expanding Kinfolks BBQ into a brick-and-mortar restaurant, sparking excitement among Massachusetts foodies.

The journey to find the perfect location has led English to explore options beyond Taunton. English took to social media earlier this week with a photo of the former Boston Market restaurant on 12th Street in Fall River, igniting a flurry of speculation and support from eager fans.

The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing enthusiasm for the potential expansion. While some suggested alternative locations, notably in New Bedford, it seems people overall would approve of Fall River.

When asked for more details on the Boston Market post, English only said, "I put in an offer."

Kinfolks is renowned for award-winning fried chicken, juicy beef brisket, mouthwatering pulled pork and delectable BBQ sandwiches, all served up fresh from a food truck.

As speculation builds, one thing remains clear: Kinfolks BBQ is poised for greatness.

The Best of South Shore Bar Pizza

There's pizza, and then there's South Shore Bar Pizza. Birthed in Brockton (and to this writer, perfected in Randolph – Lynwood Café is the true G.O.A.T.), it must meet certain qualifications to be considered "SSBP," which include: it's a 10-inch pie; it has a thin, cracker-like crust with minimal "flop;" the cheese is a blend that features more cheddar than mozzarella; and bonus points if you take it home between two carboard-type plates wrapped in flat brown paper bag. They also usually come with "laced" or "burnt" edges (terminology depends on where you are ordering), which is when the sauce and cheese are extended all the way to the edge of the pan, creating a crispy, flavorful coating to the crust. We reached out to the hugely popular South Shore Bar Pizza Social Club Facebook group to ask the experts to share the best of the best (in no particular order).
