A mini-grant secured by the United Way of Greater New Bedford has helped lift more than just the spirits of local veterans helped by the Friends of the DAV.
This past June, the Veteran's Transition House made a big but quiet move from their Willis Street location to a new, temporary address on County Street in New Bedford.
