We've all seen scooters zipping around city streets, and they can sometimes cause an unsafe environment for other drivers.
This is why the New Bedford City Council is looking for state legislators to step in and create new laws that treat scooter operators the same as anyone riding a motorcycle.
The numbers are getting higher and higher. Accident are up month after month from texting and driving. :and even GPS apps on smart phones are causing accidents.
The question is what can be done to prevent this number from growing? It seems to be that even with laws in place, drivers are going to continue to pick up the phone to yext while driving...
I notice this more and more when I park in a parking lot. I can usually tell 90% of the time who's drive what car by the way they park it. Not all women do this, but a majority do. When they park, they leave the front tires angled which might cause a fender bender while you're trying to back out of your space.
