Swansea Firefighters Battle a House Fire

Swansea Firefighters battle a house fire.

The Swansea Fire Departmet responded to a house fire monday evening , Swansea Fire received several calls for a house fire on Veranda Ave. When Fire Chief-2, arrived on scene he  reported a working fire. Firefighters under the command of Chief Peter Burke, knocked the bulk of the fire down quickly and made an aggressive interior attack to prevent any further damage to the home.

The Swansea Fire Department is staffed with hard working men and women who are volunteers and are dedicated to serving the community.

According to the departments facebook page , Firefighters remained on scene for several hours performing overhaul. Fortunately. no one was home at the time and neighbors quickly reported the fire.
