We are still in the dog days of summer, but Farmer's Almanac has already released their forecast for the winter of 2018-2019.

With the heat and humidity we've been experiencing recently, some people may be ready to start thinking about the winter a this point. If you are fan of the cold and snowy weather, you'll probably like what the prediction is for the SouthCoast, and much of New England.

To be specific, the forecast is for a colder winter with more snow than last winter. The almanac also says we can expect 5 coastal stoms known as "Nor'Easters." We had a few of those during the late winter of 2018.

Also predicted by the Farmer's Almanac, is a colder and wetter than normal fall season. The forecast says late September and early October of this year will have temperatures below normal.

With that in mind, maybe this hotter than usual August isn't so bad after all.
