SouthCoast Teachers to Take Over Fun 107 Airwaves
We've always been huge fans of SouthCoast teachers. You've heard us honoring the SouthCoast's best teachers for years.
What we've seen from the teachers across the area lately, however, is next-level stuff. During this COVID-19 pandemic, we've been so blown away by the dedication that we've been seeing that we wanted to show off these teachers as the stars that they are.
We've seen your teacher parades. We love the signs you're leaving for your students in their front yards. We've watched the videos you've sent to your students. Each of these gestures share one common theme: your love of teaching and learning is humbling.
Now, imagine how excited your class will be to hear you on Fun 107 giving shoutouts to your kids.
If you're a teacher and you'd like to be featured on Fun 107, open up the Fun 107 app and hit the "Send Audio/Video" button.
Send us a few pieces of audio. Here's an example:
"Hi, this is Mrs. Silva from the Potter School in Dartmouth, and I want to say hi to my fourth-grade class. I miss you! Be safe, and keep practicing your long division!"
We'll take the audio, produce it, and air it on Fun 107.
A note to parents and kids: if you can think of a teacher in your life that should get the spotlight here on the SouthCoast, be sure to share this link with them on Facebook.
We'll air as many of the teachers that send in audio as we can. The more creative the teachers get, the better, so have fun with it!
Thank you for helping us celebrate some of the best teachers here on the SouthCoast.
