WAREHAM - Two Hyannis men are arrested in Wareham after police responded to a report of possible shoplifters in the town.

Wareham Police were called to Target at Wareham Crossing after two men had been seen going back and forth from the store to a parked car. When officers arrived, they found one of the men inside the store and the other in a car.

As police investigated, they determined the car had been reported stolen out of Hyannis.

Police arrested the two men, 21-year-old Geoffrey Curran and 43-year-old Michael James, and charged them with receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

Police are also reviewing surveillance footage from the store. It's believed the two men stole nearly $2,000 of merchandise.
