Shawmut Diner Closes Its Doors for Good [AUDIO]

The Shawmut Diner is closing its doors for good today.

This morning we had Phil Paleologos from the Shawmut Diner on the air. Phil and his wife Celeste have owned the diner for 33 years and will finally close the doors today at 2 PM. The land is being purchased by Cumberland Farms.

The diner has been open for 60 years, serving people from all over including some celebrities.  How does the closing of the Shawmut Diner feel for Phil?  Hear his interview with us below.
