Sephora Starts Subscription Beauty Box Service

Move over BirchBox there’s a new beauty box in town.

Sephora has just announced the launch of “Play! By Sephora,” their new monthly subscription beauty box service which starts in September in Boston, Columbus, and Cincinnati. Sephora will expand their locations starting next year (can’t wait!)

The $10 a month themed kit will reportedly contain five products, a custom Spotify playlist, coupons and other in-store perks like personal tutorials.

According to Women's Wear Daily, the first box will include Sephora Collection Rouge Infusion lip gloss in Peony, Glamglow Supercleanse facial cleanser,  Marc Jacobs Beauty gel crayon eyeliner in Blacquer, Bumble and Bumble's Hairdresser's Invisible Oil and Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Face Crème.

There isn't any link to sign-up for a subscription yet, but this beauty box is definitely in the works. Until then I'll just have to get my beauty-fix in the actual store!
