See the Portsmouth House with a Private Pirate’s Cove
Plenty of Rhode Island and Massachusetts homes can boast their waterfront status, but how many of them can say they come with access to private coves and the caves around them?
The house on 205 Indian Ave in Portsmouth is the first one I've ever heard of.
Now I personally like to imagine that the caves in this Rhode Island cove were once used by pirates to hide their treasure, but the listing with Kylie McCollough on Sotheby's International Realty doesn't mention pirates anywhere.
It does, however, mention the home's pool, hot tub, panoramic water views, full gym, cinema and rock sauna. Who really needs buried treasure when this house seems like a treasure all its own?
Yes, a house like this does come with a hefty price tag. The cost of this dream home is $11.95 million. However, you do get some bang for your buck.
The house is 8,478 square feet with nine bedrooms, eight bathrooms and seemingly endless balconies and patios. Plus, the property is just under two acres with access to a secluded 700-foot cove with sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters.
It's an awesome spot for those who love to snorkel or scuba for sure.
You also get a sprawling lawn, a pool and hidden-gem spots like this one to watch what I imagine are epic sunsets.
Need more than just the view from the lawn? Keep scrolling to see this Portsmouth house with a private cove both inside and out.
