Jaylen Brown’s Historic Decade with the Boston Celtics

Brown was drafted by the Celtics in June 2016. The five-time NBA All-Star quickly became a standout on the court and led the team to the championship in 2024. It was there that he averaged 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the series to take home Finals MVP honors and bring the trophy back to Boston.

On July 6, 2026, it was announced that Brown was leaving Boston, traded to the Philadelphia 76ers and ending his decade-long tenure playing for the Celtics.
