Rob Gronkowski Surprises Patients at Boston Children’s Hospital
Patients and staff at Boston Children's Hospital got a very nice surprise yesterday from Rob Gronkowski and his family.
Gronk Nation showed up to entertain the kids and drop off a donation check in the amount of $80,000.
The Patriots tight end was joined by his father and brothers during the visit and they all appeared to have a great time with the kids.
They did good for the entire hospital as well, donating $80,000 from the Gronkowksi Family Foundation.
The money had been raised recently at a raffle according to CBS Boston, but Gronk of course wanted to personally drop it off.
Gronk's foundation is dedicated to inspiring youth to reach their maximum potential through sports, education, community and fitness and has raised a lot of money for many great causes over the years.
Last year at this time, Gronk and his brothers stopped at three New England hospitals with donations, Boston Children's, Hasbro Children's in Providence and The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Maine.
So if he plans the same donation course this year, you may want to keep an eye out for Rob Gronkowski and family in Providence today.
