The Wicked Tulips Flower Farm has opened for the 2018 season and the flowers look fantastic!

If you're looking for a unique Mother's Day experience or just want an enjoyable outdoor spring day, this farm at 90 Brown Ave in Johnston, RI is the place to go.

Last year the farm did open earlier in the season, but after the delayed spring weather, the opening date got delayed as well.

But now it is warm enough and the 5-acres of tulip fields have really started to bloom, making May the perfect month to visit!

The farm gets very busy during peak season, for families and photographers alike. And with photos like this one you can see why...

As anyone who has visited the Wicked Tulips Flower Farm will tell you, tickets sell out fast on the weekend. In fact, Saturdays and Sundays you cannot walk up and buy tickets, you have to have purchased them ahead of time online.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for kids aged 4-17 (under 4 is free!). They must be used for the day you buy them and the farm is open rain or shine.

If you can sneak in mid-week it is definitely the best time for photos and flower picking without the massive crowds.

But with over 600,000 bulbs planted...there should be plenty for everyone to pick!

And if you are someone who may want to visit again and again, they have season passes for unlimited weekday visit for just $30.
