Calling all Rastafarians, reggae is returning to West Beach for a couple more shows.

Reggae on West Beach is a four-part summer music festival featuring bands and DJs shelling out the coolest reggae styles of rocksteady, roots, rubadub, and dancehall. The event has two final shows on July 28 and Aug. 25, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be held at the West Beach Pavilion located at 215 W. Rodney French Blvd., across from Hazelwood Park.

The lineup dawns some of the best local artists around including reggae DJs BabyMatt and Junior Rodigan on July 28, and the Live funk, soul, Motown, and modern styles of the Felix Brown Band.

This event is family-friendly and completely free. Guests are encouraged to pack beach chairs and towels to lounge around and enjoy some relaxing reggae vibes. Food trucks will be on-site to offer a variety of delicious local offerings including Ja Patty RI Catering and Events (Jamaican food), Izzy's Restaurant Food Truck (Cape Verdean food), Dorothy Cox selling Del's Lemonade, Cool Licks, and much more.

Smoking and alcohol are not allowed at this festival.

Guests must have a summer parking permit to be able to park along W. Rodney French,  but free parking will be available in the two Hazelwood Park parking lots located on Brock Ave. and at the W. Rodney French Blvd.
