PLYMOUTH — A 69-year-old man who was reported missing June 17 was found dead Saturday after an extensive four-day search.

The body of Rodney Riviello was discovered outdoors in Plymouth, according to Police Chief Dana Flynn and Fire Chief Neil Foley.

 

"The members of the Plymouth Police Department and Plymouth Fire Department offer their sincere condolences to Mr. Riviello's family and loved ones," Flynn and Foley said in a news release.

The chiefs said more information would be provided in the coming days.

Riviello, who had memory issues, went missing after being discharged from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Authorities believed him to be traveling on foot. His family had offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to his return.
