SouthCoast Little League Players Can Now Get Some Spotlight on Fun 107
It’s funny how some memories last forever while others fade instantly. I can’t remember where I left my keys, but I’ll never forget earning a game ball after a Little League All-Star game.
The team would sit in the chain-link fenced dugout as the coach gave a quick recap of the game, highlighting different players and their contributions. Then, he’d get to the player of the game, congratulate him, and toss the game ball over the fence.
I was happy to see that many Little League teams still carry on this tradition. Gestures like that can mean the world to a kid trying to figure out the game of baseball, not to mention the game of life.

Fun 107 and Cardi's Launch the Fun 107 Game Ball Spotlight
That’s why Fun 107 and Cardi’s Furniture and Mattresses are launching a new Player of the Game feature on The MGM Show.
We’re asking parents and coaches to submit audio on the Fun 107 app. Just tap the "Submit Audio" button and tell us about your Player of the Game. Include the player’s name, team, opponent, and what they did to earn the honor.
We’ll air as many submissions as we can each morning on The MGM Show. You supply the audio. We’ll supply the spotlight.
How to Submit Audio on the Fun 107 App
- Open the Fun 107 app
- Tap the three lines in the upper left corner
- Tap "Submit Audio"
