Stephen Gostkowski can add detective to his resume apparently. The Patriots kicker helped police solve the case of his missing iPad recently.

He's an All-Pro kicker, but according to The Sun Chronicle he's also got a sharp eye.

Back in January, Gostkowski reported that his iPad had been stolen out of his truck that was parked in his Wrentham home's driveway.

The bold thief wasn't too bright however, because just days later the kicker noticed that about a half-dozen "selfies" of a teenage stranger appeared in his iCloud account.

Gostkowski sent the photos to police and then used his Find My iPad app to try and locate the stolen tablet.

The searched worked and led officers to a Woonsocket home, where 19-year-old Ralphy Olivero was found with the iPad and the Nike backpack it had been stored in. He was also the stranger in the "selfies" Gostkowski had previously seen.

Olivero was arrested by Woonsocket police. He pled no contest to receiving stolen property charges in Providence District Court and was placed on probation for one year.

He now also faces larceny charges in Wrentham District Court and will be arraigned on April 15th.
