Patriots' players Joe Cardona and Matthew Slater helped get 200 military members tickets into tonight's game.

Joe Cardona is not only a Patriots long snapper, but an officer in the Navy. He and his teammate Matthew Slater spearheaded an effort to get 200 tickets out to military members for tonight's game against the Falcons. *cough* 28-3 *cough*

Cardona said in an interview with ESPN's Mike Reiss,

"It's a number that far exceeded espectations. It was a collabrative effort. I was talking to Matt Slater, we were thinking of ways to reach out, especially to our local military community, and show how much we value them. My point of view was, 'Let's give these men and women the experience of coming to a big game.' Let's get them a personal feel, them being our personal guests. guests of the team."

They'll also get to be on the field before the game. A first class gesture yet again from a first class organization.
