The popular Football For You clinic is returning to New Bedford and Fall River next month. It's a chance for local kids to be taught football and life lessons by former Patriots players.

Football For You is for girls and boys ages 9 to 14. The instruction will be delivered by five to six alums with the help of select local youth football coaches. Patriots Alumni President Pete Brock says the non-contact clinic is a "unique experience for both kids that have played and not played football."

Each child will get a chance to get instruction on each and every position on the field from the former NFL pros. Brock is proud that the 23 city New England tour is completely free to the kids, the parents, and the communities. The outreach program is paid for with various fundraising.

Brock told Fun 107 that not only will the kids have interaction with the players, the parents will as well.

"While the kids are going through their cycles, we actually present to the parents. We have a discussion about nutrition, age appropriate strength and conditioning, sportsmanship, those types of topics that we bring to the parents because if we are going to influence and keep this game as positive as we can, we have to make sure the parents are onboard just like the kids out on the field." --Patriots Alumni President, Pete Brock.

It is not too late for kids to attend the free clinic. Anyone interested should visit patriotsalumni.com. Over 10,000 kids and 22 communities will be impacted with the Football For You program.
