
New Theater at Patriot Place Stages ‘Murder on the Orient Express’
FOXBORO (WBSM) — Patriot Place in Foxboro has long been a place for all types of shopping, dining and entertainment, well beyond just attending New England Patriots football games at Gillette Stadium. But did you know you can see live theater there as well?
A New Theater Opens at Patriot Place
A nonprofit organization called New England Public Theatre opened up this past fall at Patriot Place, in the space formerly occupied by Helix E-Sports. Its first show, a production of Oklahoma!, opened back in October.
Now, its new production of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is set to open on March 6 for six performances.
“We're so thrilled to be back at Patriot Place,” said Jon Mael, New England Public Theatre’s founding artistic director. “This show is a blast and always a fan favorite, and it's just as fun to work on as it is to attend. We're excited to bring another high-quality production to the local community and bring this classic mystery to the next generation. Our dedicated cast can't wait to welcome the public!”
What Is Murder on the Orient Express About?
Based on the 1934 detective novel by Christie, it is one of her mysteries that feature the character of Hercule Poirot. In the story, American tycoon Samuel Ratchett is murdered aboard a train, and Poirot must solve the case.
It has been adapted numerous times over the years for film, television and the stage.

When Will New England Public Theatre Perform Murder on the Orient Express?
The performances are slated for March 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, and 15.
Where Is New England Public Theatre Located at Patriot Place?
The theatre is located at 23 Patriot Place, near the Patriots Pro Shop and the Patriot Place Plaza. It is a 15,000-square-foot facility that seats 225, and offers food and beverages.

How Much Are Tickets and Where Can They Be Purchased?
Tickets for General Admission Floor or Counter seats are $30. There are also a limited number of General Admission Bleacher seats for $15, and it is recommended you bring a cushion or pillow to sit on. Tickets can be purchased from the New England Public Theatre website.
