‘Orange Is the New Black’ Star Coming to New Bedford

It was the Netflix original Orange Is the New Black that actually sold me on getting a subscription. There are so many personalities in this show. If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend binge watching. Once you watch the show, you will absolutely want to be part of this event that the New Bedford Festival Theatre is putting on.

Taylor Schilling, who is most widely known for her role as Piper Chapman on Orange Is the New Black, is originally from the Boston area.

Taylor apparently has a connection to a cast member in the New Bedford Festival Theatre's Production of Mamma Mia at the Zeiterion.

She will be attending the show during its two-weekend run in late July.

If you want a chance to meet her, they are holding a meet-and-greet. They have a Facebook event page with all the information on purchasing tickets to her meet-and-greet event.

Tickets to this are limited and I have a feeling they will sell out. She is absolutely amazing in OITNB, although I have to admit I still need to watch the latest season. I guess I have a few weeks to binge watch and get myself caught up in case she decides to pop quiz us on the show.
