The five-time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots are auditioning cheerleaders this weekend. Here's what you need to know to try out.

Saturday, March 3, the New England Patriots Cheerleaders are hosting their yearly open auditions inside the Pieri Gymnasium at Dean College in Franklin, MA.

Those looking to make the team should arrive early, because registration starts at 9:30 a.m.

The tryouts are open to all candidates who are 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.

Everyone on hand will be taught choreographed dance routines from former cheerleaders, and will be given an opportunity to perform a freestyle combination.

The preliminary round on Saturday will narrow the participants down to 40-50 dancers, who will be invited to the final round of auditions on March 24.

Tips for those thinking of auditioning...

Be performance ready. Dress the part and make sure to have your hair and make-up done.

Bring food and drinks. It can be a long day if you make the cut, so be prepared by packing a light lunch

Have a head shot and resume. A 5x7 photo for ID purposes is required as well as a resume, so get those ready ASAP.
