North Dartmouth Kitten Wants to Make a House a Home [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
I am a lover of all animals, and when I realized how many animals are waiting for their forever homes on the SouthCoast, I knew something had to be done. Wet Nose Wednesday is dedicated to shining a spotlight on one animal in the area that up for adoption. With the help of several shelters in the area, we have managed to get the word out about some incredible animals that are ready to come home for good.
This week, our four-legged friend comes from the Humane Society & Shelter SouthCoast in North Dartmouth.
Meet Lilo. She is an eight-month-old cat with beautiful green eyes and has been living at HSSSC for the past month. Lilo loves everyone she meets and is incredibly affectionate. She is known for being a chatty kitty and enjoys attention from pets and humans. She is great with other cats and small dogs, too.
Lilo doesn’t have experience with children, but with careful introductions, I have a feeling Lilo would welcome the idea of friends that are close to her size.
She is an all-black cat, but don’t let that deter you. Black cats started getting a bad rap in the middle ages for having “bad luck” or being “evil companions," but this is far from the truth.
Lilo is spayed and anxiously awaits a loving family to take her home. If you are interested in meeting her, visit hsssc.org to schedule an appointment, and like them on Facebook.
