Have you ever seen a baby, or something else that's cute and said 'that you want to eat it up'? A new study shows there might actually be some truth to that thought.

According to NBC News, new research shows that when people see something cute it causes an aggressive reaction. So when you want to squeeze a baby, don't worry, it's totally normal.

The study gave a group of people a sheet of bubble wrap, and played a slide show. When cute pictures popped up (like above) they popped more bubbles than when funny or regular pictures came up. The researchers are calling it cute aggression. So next time somebody sees your puppy, kitten or baby and they say they want to 'eat it up', hide the kitchen supplies.

If you have a cute animal, we would love to see it! Email your pictures to us!
