New Restaurant Opens In Downtown New Bedford
New Bedford’s Mayor Jon Mitchell welcomed a new restaurant into downtown New Bedford.
The new restaurant is the Quahog Republic Whaler’s Tavern, which is located on 24 North Water Street in New Bedford.
Mayor John Mitchell was joined by other elected officials and business leaders to officially cut the ribbon at New Bedford’s Whaler Tavern.
The New Bedford restaurant is the newest addition to Quahog Republic’s family of restaurants.
Additionally, there are two more Quahog Republic restaurants in the southcoast area. These two locations are Dive Bar on 97 Spring Bars Road in Falmouth, and Waterfront Eatery on 97 Onset Avenue in Onset.
Whaler’s Tavern is located in a historic building on a cobblestone street in downtown New Bedford. It is only a short walk from the New Bedford waterfront. Whaler’s Tavern offers a full menu, raw bar, 14 beer types, a wine selection, and over 20 different variations of rum.
