A new lottery ticket in New Hampshire is combining some of America's favorite things!

That was the theory behind the New Hampshire lottery's new scratch (and sniff) lottery ticket that is out-selling many other dollar scratch tickets in the state. In fact, lottery officials think the I Heart Bacon scratch ticket could sell out in three months!
So are the New Hampshire lottery folks geniuses?
Well they aren't the first state to have a bacon themed lottery ticket nor are they the first to have scratch and sniff tickets. They are however the first to combine the two, which may be what makes these $1 tickets so popular.
Not only do they give you the chance to win $1,000, they give you that sweet scent of bacon every time you play.
According to turnto10.com, the state is even promoting the new tickets by bringing The Bacon Truck, a Boston-based food truck, to various locations around the state to hand out free lottery tickets and actual strips of bacon. who doesn't love free bacon!
