New Hyperlapse App From Instagram Makes Awesome Videos

The same company that brought fancy filters to your smartphone photos now brings a video editing app called Hyperlapse that's got some potential.

Instagram announced the app last week, which takes videos you've recorded through Instagram or the Hyperlapse app itself and speeds it up however you please. This makes for cool fast forwarding effects perfect for sunsets, traffic passing by, or whatever creative use you can think of.

The app is simple and easy to use. You simple select or shoot a video, and edit the footage with one touch. Easy.
