New Bedford Man Charged With Nightclub Murder

Back in August of 2012, Providence police found 38-year-old Jamal Cruz Of Wareham In the parking lot of the Monet Lounge night club.

He had been shot and he died a short time later at Rhode Island Hospital. Now, a grand jury has indicted 24 year-old Terrel Barros of New Bedford on a murder charge. Barros is charged with murder, assault with a dangerous weapon and firearm violations.

Stephen Bodden, also of New Bedford, has been indicted on charges that he attempted to hide the gun that was used in the shooting.
